#FirstWorldProblems Are Not Problems

Hi everybody,

It's been a long time since I've posted anything (too long), so I thought I should get back in the habit of blogging about the world we live in, and it's changing realities.

I'm going to start by sharing a video called The First World Problems read by Third World People.

I thought this video was really interesting because of several reasons. When watching the video you have to remember these are people in third world countries who have never heard of ice cold water, or an iPhone charger, or even a cell phone itself.

Don't be wasteful just because a new iPhone was created and all it added was a bug fix and a talking robot voice!

The video makes me think of everything I take advantage of, and I forget how fortunate and lucky I am to be able to have a bed, and a nice warm house with my family. I am also so fortunate to live in a time of peace, where I don't have to worry about whether I will be taken by a warlord or thrown into child labor.

I hope you enjoy the video and think to yourself what you are lucky to have and appreciate in your life.

Thanks,

Emmanuel

Introducing UNICEF Young Ambassadors, USA

Hi everyone

I want to tell you about an exciting new program I'm privileged to be a part of called UNICEF Young Ambassadors.

Young Ambassadors gives a chance for children ages 9 to 15 to advocate for UNICEF's work by raising money and representing the important work of the organization.

I'm proud to be a founding member of this new program letting children be more involved with UNICEF and its global work.

As a group, our first mission is to raise funds to end Maternal and Neonatal Tetanus, an awful disease killing mothers and babies after childbirth.

Maternal and Neonatal Tetanus is completely preventable, but it still kills 60,000 babies a year.

Please watch my video to find out more about MNT, and how you can help.

Please visit my fundraising page to help. Just $1.80 can save a mom and her future children from this terrible tragedy.

Together we can Believe In Zero, and stop children dying from preventable causes, such as Maternal and Neonatal Tetanus.

Thanks,
Emmanuel
